AUTHENTIC TIPIS
Wander through the authentic tipi village, where over 25 First Nations families from Treaty 7 set uptraditional homes, offering a unique glimpse into their heritage. Each tipi is adorned with stunning hand-painted designs, telling stories of history, family, and spirituality. Visitors can step inside and meet the families, hear stories passed down through generations, and learn about Indigenous ways of life, from traditional governance to spiritual customs.
CUISINE
No visit to Elbow River Camp is complete without trying traditional Indigenous foods, like freshly made bannock, a staple frybread with a golden, crispy exterior and warm, fluffy inside.
