The Calgary Stampede is more than just cowboy hats and rodeo action—it’s a world-class entertainment spectacle filled with thrilling performances, high-energy music, and jaw-dropping acrobatics. From gravity-defying stunt shows to heartwarming animal acts, there’s something for everyone to enjoy beyond the rodeo arena.
TEAM CATTLE PENNING
In this fast-paced event, teams of riders work collaboratively to separate specific cattle from a herd and guide them into a pen within a limited time. It showcases horsemanship, teamwork, and cattle-handling skills. From gravity-defying stunt shows to heartwarming animal acts, there’s something for everyone to enjoy beyond the rodeo arena.
HEAVY HORSE SHOW
Dating back to 1886, this is the oldest Heavy Horse Show in North America. With 19 different classes with prize money, there will be something for all spectators who love heavy horse competitions.
