The Calgary Stampede is proud to present Alex Hughes on  the Nashville North Stage.   Alex Hughes is a powerhouse pop-country vocalist from Calgary, Alberta, known for blending modern pop sensibilities with country heart. With a voice that’s both fierce and feminine, she’s turning heads in Canada’s country music scene. Her latest single, “Until This Fire Dies,” produced by Dan Swinimer (Jojo Mason, Madeline Merlo), landed her the cover of Apple Music Canada’s “Canada’s Country” playlist and showcases her signature mix of emotion and edge.

A two-time Horizon Female Artist of the Year nominee at the Country Music Alberta Awards, Alex is gearing up to release a new EP in 2025. Catch her live at Nashville North on July 7, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM—a free 18+ concert on the Calgary Stampede grounds.
