EVENT BIO

The fastest tongues in the west square off at the International Livestock Auctioneer Competition inside the Nutrien Western Event Centre—where one master of the mic will walk away with a $10,000 cheque.

Contestants are judged on rhythm, clarity, voice control, livestock knowledge, and their ability to spot bids and run a smooth sale. Finalists will auction off brand consignment cattle and one surprise Black Box item.

And yes—you can be part of the action. If something in the Black Box catches your eye, don’t be shy—bid big and bid fast!
