Marlo Hoogstraten, also known by his stage name MaRLo, is a Dutch-born Australian trance DJ. In 2010, he was voted Australia’s Number 2 Trance DJ and overall Number 11 in the Inthemix Top 50 DJ poll.

Opened in 1921 during the golden age of movie palaces, The Palace Theatre is a Calgary landmark with a rich legacy of film, vaudeville, and live orchestras. It was also the site of Calgary’s first public radio broadcast. With its grand marble staircases, ornate plaster ceilings, and timeless charm, it was declared a National Historic Site in 1996. Today, the beautifully restored venue blends historic character with modern amenities, hosting concerts, performances, corporate events, and more—complete with state-of-the-art sound and in-house catering.
