ARTIST BIO
After fulfilling their seventh studio album What It Means To Fall Apart, Mayday Parade is stepping into a new era—reclaiming full creative control and releasing music independently for the first time since their self-released debut EP. The move marks a return to their DIY roots, with a renewed focus on releasing emotionally driven singles on their own timeline.
Their latest track, “More Like A Crash,” captures the emotional wreckage left in the wake of personal endings, blending angsty energy with their signature emotional depth. It kicks off a wave of more frequent, standalone releases that allow each song to shine.
Now nearing two decades as a band, the Tallahassee crew credits their longevity to a deep bond formed long before their breakout. With a shared passion and a fire that still burns bright, they’re heading out this summer co-headlining Sad Summer Fest with longtime friends The Maine. Their next single, “Pretty Good To Feel Something,” drops just in time—an anthem about loss, resilience, and moving forward with gratitude.
