ARTIST BIO

During the Calgary Stampede, the Wildhorse is proud to present Sloan.  Sloan is a Canadian rock band that originated in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 1991. Over the course of their career, they’ve released thirteen studio albums and earned nine Juno Award nominations, taking home one win. From 1996 to 2016, they ranked among the top 75 best-selling Canadian artists and were one of the top 25 best-selling Canadian bands. Sloan is best known for their iconic hits “Money City Maniacs,” “The Rest of My Life,” and “The Good in Everyone.”
