The Calgary Stampede is proud to present the Western Elite Bred Heifer Invitational.  The Western Elite Bred Heifer Invitational is a brand-new addition to youth livestock programming at the Calgary Stampede, created in response to the growing number of beef females exhibited at junior shows across Western Canada. Recognizing a need to spotlight breeding cattle once again, the committee developed this premier event to showcase the very best.

Top bred heifers from leading junior shows in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan will be invited to compete in this prestigious invitational. The result is a supreme showcase of elite breeding stock, shining a spotlight on the next generation of cattle producers and their top-tier livestock.

As the largest agricultural showcase facility in Canada, the Nutrien Western Event Centre is the heart of western heritage at Stampede Park. Purpose-built for rodeo, livestock, and equine events, this state-of-the-art venue hosts elite competitions and showcases year-round.
