ARTIST BIO
The Calgary Stampede is proud to present Willow Avalon on the Nashville North Stage. Hailing from rural Georgia with roots in gospel and country, Willow Avalon is a rising Americana force with a rebellious spirit. A self-taught musician who began writing songs at 12 and left home by 15, Avalon channels raw life experience into haunting, heartfelt lyrics. Her debut EP Stranger earned over 30 million streams, with standout tracks like “Tequila and Whiskey” and “Homewrecker” turning heads across genres. Now based in New York, she’s toured alongside the likes of Charles Wesley Godwin and Cage the Elephant. Her debut album Southern Belle Raisin’ Hell arrives January 2025.
